Scottish PR Awards Shortlist for Real

Date: 11/10/2013

Judges for Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide awards Scotland have shortlisted Real PR in two categories this year. Known as the Oscars of the Scottish Public Relations (PR) industry, the awards recognise the very best of PR talent across the country.

The team at Real have been nominated in the ‘Best External Publication’ and ‘Not-For-Profit Campaign’ categories.

Best External Publication

The Best External Publication nomination comes from work with our regular design partners, Dynam, on a project to explain personalisation to both carers and users of Unity Enterprise’s services. As well as producing an accessible brochure for both audiences, it was coupled with a DVD containing a video for each audience.

Best Not-For-Profit Campaign

Last year, Real PR ran a campaign to raise awareness for the necessity of First Aid Skills in parents.

Real PR was asked by third-sector client, St Andrew’s First Aid, to identify an issue driven campaign which would attract media coverage in the run up to Scottish First Aid Week and position the organisation as the pre-eminent authority on first aid issues in Scotland.

Working with journalist Kaye Adams and the results of a YouGov Survey,  Real PR generated blanket coverage across Scottish newspapers and STV.
