Real PR success with three CIPR PRide Nominations

Scottish Public Relations (PR) agency, Real PR has received three nominations in the forthcoming 2010 CIPR Scotland PRide awards.

Real PR has been shortlisted in the best use of Media Relations and Public Sector categories for their work with the Office of Scottish Information Commissioner’s (OSIC) five years of Freedom of Information campaign.

The campaign involved working with the communication team in OSIC and Inverness design firm Dynam to highlight five successful years of Freedom of Information in Scotland, reach specialist groups and launch the 2010 annual report.

Company director, Joe Walton has also been shortlisted in the young communicator of the year category.

The award nominations  round up a successful year for the Glasgow based company that included driving a local community buy out of Bute forest and work for retained clients, CPA Engineering Solutions, The Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland and Unity Enterprises. Real PR is also responsible for local PR for some the world’s best known companies. 

Ilya Scott, Managing Director of Real PR, said, “We have enjoyed previous success at the PRide awards and are proud of our work with OSIC. Hopefully we can build on our previous nominations to take home a prize but we are happy just to have been recognised.”  

The final winners will be announced at the CIPR Scotland PRide awards at Prestonfield House Hotel on the 4th of November 2010.
